Mel Almond is a certified Physician Assistant with more than 15 years of healthcare experience spanning family medicine, urgent care, internal medicine, HIV care, and emergency medical services.
She earned her Physician Assistant degree from A.T. Still University and has served diverse communities across Alaska, Hawaii, Georgia, and the Midwest. Prior to becoming a PA, she worked as a paramedic and served with the United States Peace Corps in Guyana. Committed to patient-centered care, she is passionate about improving access to quality healthcare and actively supports her community through volunteer leadership and service organizations.
