Did you know that by law, Community Health Center boards must be made up of at least 51% community members?  Our community board members are individuals who live in the communities we serve. They are our patients and represent others who are served by MLCHC in terms of demographics such as race, ethnicity, gender, and social-economic status.  The model works because it ensures that patients represent the needs and voices of our community.
Today, we celebrate patients and our community board members who keep our health centers accountable and abreast of our community needs.

Safe Firearm Storage Event

Come join Moses Lake Community Health Center, Samaritan Healthcare, and the Grant County Health District to promote safe firearm storage. Learn about the importance of storing firearms safely in your home and receive hands-on training to use a lock box and trigger lock. Every attendee 18 and over will receive a lock box or trigger lock, while supplies last.

National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
