Moses Lake Community Health Center Providers Recognized for Mentoring Future Physicians
Moses Lake, WA – Moses Lake Community Health Center (MLCHC) is proud to recognize several of its medical providers who help train the next generation of physicians through the University of Washington School of Medicine–Gonzaga University Health Partnership.
MLCHC was recently recognized with a Health Partners Award, honoring organizations and providers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to mentoring students and supporting community-based clinical education.
Seven MLCHC providers participate in the program, mentoring medical students and helping provide valuable clinical learning experiences in a community healthcare setting. Participating providers include:
- Allen Noble, PA-C
- Bethany Mulder, DO
- Cameron Beck, MD
- Carlina Menjivar, MD
- Cole Hemmerling, MD
- Logan Mims, MD
- Ryan Tolley, DO
Through these mentorship opportunities, medical students gain valuable experience working directly with patients while learning from practicing physicians and healthcare professionals.
Students are paired with primary care providers and participate in regular clinical experiences across Eastern Washington and throughout the WWAMI region—Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.
While MLCHC providers play a significant role in mentoring students locally, other healthcare providers throughout the Moses Lake community also participate in the UW–Gonzaga training program. Together, these partnerships help ensure that future physicians gain meaningful experience in community-based and rural healthcare settings.
“Our providers are deeply committed to both their patients and the future of healthcare,” said Allen Noble, PA-C, Chief Medical Officer of Moses Lake Community Health Center. “Mentoring medical students allows us to share our knowledge, strengthen the healthcare workforce, and introduce future physicians to the value of serving communities like Moses Lake.”
By participating in programs like the UW–Gonzaga Health Partnership, MLCHC continues its commitment to improving access to healthcare and supporting the development of the next generation of providers.
