The Health Center is committed to providing quality, full-spectrum primary health care. It is important that patients are able to see the provider of their choice at their convenience; Continuity of Care and Open Access are our objective! Services are designed to meet the needs of the entire family and include: Family Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine. As part of our comprehensive care, we provide on-site laboratory and radiology services.
Health Center patients can utilize the on-site Pharmacy in Moses Lake for their prescription needs. Pharmacy staff can help qualifying patients obtain brand name medications at significantly reduced costs through special programs. In some cases, patients may qualify for free medications.
Samaritan Hospital is a full-service community hospital, located one block from the Health Center in Moses Lake, with full-time Emergency Room Services, 50 acute care beds, a seven bed Special Care Unit, The Leif Kvamme Mother and Baby Center delivering nearly 1000 babies per year, and modern x-ray, laboratory, physical therapy and respiratory care services.
Diabetes Education
The Health Center is committed to helping patients manage and control their diabetes through a comprehensive Diabetes Education program. The Health Center participated in the National and State Diabetes Collaborative from 1999 to 2007. Partnerships in the community help provide specialized care for patients, including free diabetes eye clinics for uninsured diabetes patients. Other services offered, include:
- Diabetes team case management to provide people with diabetes with the best diabetes care;
- Electronic diabetes registry for tracking diabetes measures;
- One-on-one consultation with a RN Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE);
- Blood glucose monitor training
All services are provided in English, Spanish and Russian.
Dental Services
The Health Center provides general dental services in Moses Lake and Quincy with an emphasis on children and pregnant women. Dental treatment is provided to children through partnerships with Washington State Migrant Council, Family Services of Grant County, and the Educational Service District (ESD) migrant program. Services are augmented by referral relationships in dental surgery and anesthetic services. Preventive treatment and dental care services include:

Quality Improvement
The Health Center recognizes that performance measurement and quality improvement are critical elements for excellence in the health care industry. Data is used to increase accountability, support quality improvement, facilitate and support clinical decisions, monitor the population’s health status, empower patients and families to make informed health care decisions, and provide evidence to eliminate wasteful practices.
The Health Center has dedicated staff managing the Annual Quality Improvement Plan, which supports the Health Center’s mission, vision and strategic imperatives and the Institute of Medicine’s six aims for a quality health care system.
